That's some cinghiale!
The sad thing is that all they are doing is making sausage, if the story is correct. Now, I love wild boar sausage, but you would have two amazing prosciutti and loins that would feed a whole parish.

Not really a wild boar - a feral domestic hog. Not quite as good of stuff. Don't know what he got to eat in the hunting preserve - probably not just acorns. But if it were really a wild boar . . . .
