Recipes

I have not posted much for recipes since I have let Melanie do a lot of the cooking this week. It is pretty good wholesome food and all that, but I will be resuming my post starting this weekend. I am craving risotto! So, more summer recipes will come.

Thanks! I found a source online of organic pits: http://www.ourfathersfarm.com/ourfathersfarm/kernels.html. I've tried them before. They're a little bitter, but nutty.

Uh, from the inside of an apricot. They are called nauyeaux (or something like that), in French, and they use them to impart an almond flavor. I probably have some. How many do you need? You can pick them up on the way to the mountains if I have any. I can also get some late season apricots. They are not great, but they can work for the pits.

Erik, I was watching Molto Mario today while eating my snack, and he made Parozzo, which calls for apricot kernels (the inside of the apricot pit). Do you know where I can get these?
