Since we really should not consume martinis on Fridays during Lent (or indeed any day during Lent, other than Sundays and Solemnities), I have decided to impose a penance on my readers (and the poor innocents on my email list), and subject you all to.... Friday Afternoon Sermons! After Lent, I might combine the best of the Catholic world with the best of the Muslim world and offer Friday Afternoon Sermons after having my Friday Afternoon Martinis.
